WizNET Connection for TOPCON using MAGNET Field V8.x

  • From the main menu select Configure    
  • Select Survey
  • Select Add         
  • Name your new style. We suggest WizNET. Then the Checkmark
  • Under Type choose Network RTK Under the corrections drop down you can select VRS, then Next
  • Under Protocol choose NTRIP 1.0 or NTRIP2.0/1.0, then Next
  • For the Rover type Select Topcon, then Next       
  • Receiver type is likely HiperVR but we support older receivers as well. Then hit Next

  • Select you default antenna height. Usually 2.0m, then Next         
  • Select controller. Type is internal cellular, then Next
  • Select Add, then Next
  • Input the details provided to you in your welcome email. Hit Next through the next several screens setting the options as desired
  • On the tracking screen select all options, then Next         
  • On the advanced screen select Extrapolation, and base type as Other, then Next
  • Continue hitting next until the last screen hit the green checkmark to save this new survey style.

  • Now, from the main screen hit Connect 
  • Choose GNSS Hit Connect again
  • Select your receiver from the list or Refresh to scan then select your receiver by it’s serial number

  • Hit Connect again

  • Once connected the software will query the available mountpoints from the network. Refresh by hitting the blue circle/arrows if needed.

  • From the dropdown list choose either RTCM32-MSM for a VRS (Virtual Reference Station) solution or [RTCM-3X-MSM] for a single baseline solution (Nearest physical base station). **Some older receivers should use RTCM-30(VRS) or [RTCM-30](Nearest) but only if the other 2 do not work.

  • Make your selection and hit connect. You should see “connected as….”

  • To confirm you are connected go to Setup          

  • Then Status

  • You should see Fixed near the top of the screen.

  • You can hit the SVs tab to see what satellites you are tracking

  • Hit List to see a list and confirm you are tracking all constellations. WizNET supports the latest available satellite systems: USA_GPS. RUSSIA_GLONAS. EUROPE_GAL, CHINA_BDS
